Frankie Says I Do
Final Project of Third Year
Newspaper and Magazine Production
University of Lincoln, 2014
The first term of the module, Newspaper and Magazine Production, we were given the freedom to create any magazine we wanted, as long as there was a gap in the market. As well as writing articles, conducting interviews, we also had to design 64 pages. This is where I knew I wanted to pursue a career in design.
Frankie Says I Do (FSID) is a UK wedding supplement for the Australian magazine, Frankie. FSID was designed for those who wanted an alternative, non-traditional wedding. Offering real life stories and unusual wedding venues, it provided brides-to-be ideas on decorations, beauty, venues and an in-sight into past weddings (the good and the bad!).
This project enabled me to build my skills in InDesign and layout design.
